If you sign in with Apple or Google, you can delete your account directly in the Weanify app (recommended). You can also contact us by email if you cannot access the app.
Delete from the Weanify app (primary)
- Open the Weanify app on your phone or tablet.
- Go to Settings, then open Delete account (or the account / data section where delete is offered—labels may vary slightly by version).
- Follow the on-screen steps to confirm deletion.
What this does
- It disconnects your Apple or Google sign-in from Weanify and signs you out.
- Per our Privacy Policy, baby profile and journal-style data are stored on your device. Completing in-app account deletion clears that local Weanify data on this device as part of the flow (so you are not left signed in with old profile content on the same install).
- If you install Weanify again later, you start fresh unless you choose to sign in again.
If you cannot use the app
Email support@weanify.com from the email address associated with your Apple or Google account you used with Weanify (or, if you cannot send from that address, include the Apple/Google email shown in your device settings and any other detail that helps us verify your request).
Please write that you want your Weanify account and associated data deleted. We will process verified requests in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
What we delete vs. what may be retained
Typically removed or cleared
- On your device: Weanify app data tied to your use (including profile, logs, saved recipes, and notes stored locally) when you complete in-app account deletion, as described above.
- Access: Your ability to use Weanify with that Apple/Google sign-in after deletion is ended.
- We do not maintain a central database of your baby profile content like a synced cloud backup—see our Privacy Policy.
May be retained for a limited time or by processors
- Host and security logs (e.g. Vercel function logs): short-lived technical data; retention follows our host's policies, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Analytics (Mixpanel, pseudonymous identifiers): may persist for a period according to Mixpanel retention settings; we configure analytics to avoid collecting your name or email where described in the Privacy Policy.
- AI requests (OpenAI): processed to return results; our Privacy Policy states we do not store prompts or generated content in our own database, and OpenAI may retain data temporarily under its policies.
- Payments and subscriptions (Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat): purchase and entitlement records needed for billing and fraud prevention; we do not store payment card data.
- Legal, compliance, and security: limited retention only where required by law or legitimate need (e.g. disputes, abuse prevention).
Exact categories and retention are summarized under “Data Retention” and subprocessors (Mixpanel, Vercel, OpenAI, RevenueCat) in our Privacy Policy. If anything here and the Privacy Policy ever differ, the Privacy Policy controls.
